This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Touch ("Smart Touch", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, shares, and deletes information when you use the Smart Touch mobile app, website, dashboard, POS billing system, inventory tools, journal ledger tools, shop management tools, reports, and related services.

1. Information We Collect
Smart Touch is a business management app. Depending on the features used by a company, owner, admin, staff member, or shop user, we may collect and store the following information:
Account and profile information:
- Name
- Username or mobile number used for login
- Email address, if provided
- Phone number, if provided
- Company name
- Business address, if provided
- Staff role and permission settings
- Shop or warehouse assignment
- Password authentication data in protected hashed form
- Two-factor authentication setup status, if enabled
Business and billing information:
- Customer name
- Customer mobile or WhatsApp number
- Bills, invoice numbers, bill items, quantities, prices, discounts, shipping charges, taxes, totals, payment modes, approval status, paid/unpaid status, and print/share records
- Payment method details such as cash, bank, cheque, credit, UPI or similar method labels
- UTR, transaction reference, cheque reference, payment notes, and received-in party/account information when entered by a user
- Manual products added during billing
- Sale returns and purchase returns
Inventory and product information:
- Product name
- SKU, barcode, category, brand, tags, weight, images, price, shop price, wholesale price, cost price, stock, shop stock, warehouse stock, purchase orders, purchase add entries, stock movement and minus-stock records
Journal, ledger, and reporting information:
- Party names
- Party phone numbers, if entered
- Credit and debit entries
- Sale and purchase entries
- Payment entries
- CMN/interest-related calculations where enabled by the user
- Reminders
- Ledger balances, reports, day book entries, shop expenses, cash handover records, banking party ledger records, and related remarks
App and security information:
- Login time and activity logs
- Device or session information needed for security, login, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and activity tracking
- App notification tokens or identifiers if push/in-app notifications are enabled
- Error and diagnostic information needed to keep the service working
Images and media:
- Product images uploaded by company admins or authorized users
- Public website/banner/icon images uploaded or configured by the service administrator
Camera, microphone, contacts, SMS and location:
- Current Smart Touch billing and business features do not require access to your phone contacts, SMS, call logs, precise location, or microphone.
- If a future product scanning feature uses the camera, camera access will be used only after user permission and only for the selected scan/upload feature.
- Smart Touch does not use camera access for background tracking.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide and improve Smart Touch features, including:
- Creating and managing company accounts
- Allowing admins and staff to log in securely
- Managing staff roles, access permissions, and shop assignments
- Creating POS bills and receipts
- Saving, editing, approving, printing, sharing and reporting bills
- Managing inventory, products, stock, purchase entries, purchase orders and returns
- Managing shop-wise stock, expenses, day books, cash handover and reports
- Managing customer records and customer purchase history
- Managing journal entries, party ledgers, sale purchase entries, reminders and balance sheets
- Showing reports such as sales reports, payment mode reports, customer reports, inventory reports and shop reports
- Supporting notifications from administrators or the service provider
- Preventing unauthorized access, fraud, misuse, data loss or security incidents
- Troubleshooting technical issues and improving performance
- Complying with legal, tax, accounting, audit, dispute, security and regulatory requirements
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Smart Touch data may be shared only in the following limited situations:
- With the company account owner/admin: Staff and shop data may be visible to the company owner/admin according to business permissions.
- With authorized staff: Staff may access only those modules and records allowed by the company admin or permissions system.
- With service providers: Hosting, database, storage, email, notification, analytics, security, backup or technical service providers may process data only to operate Smart Touch.
